Child Safety Standards

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation in every Chakloon service, how to report it and what we do.

Version 1.0In force from October 16, 2026Updated: October 16, 2026All versions

Zero tolerance

Chakloon has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to everyone who uses any service of the Chakloon package: the social network, Chakloon Chat with its private chats, groups and channels, Chak, Chacki, Chakloon Ads and every other service. They are published by Haydamax OÜ, registry code 17351554, Tallinn, Estonia, and are part of the Terms of Service and the Community Guidelines.

Minimum age

  • Chakloon Passport and all services are for people aged 16 or over.
  • Chakloon Chat is only for people aged 18 or over.

We ask for a date of birth at registration and refuse the account if it shows that the person is below the required age. An account we find to belong to a person below the age is closed. See Minimum age.

What is forbidden

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form: publishing it, sending it, asking for it, storing it, linking to it or advertising it.
  • Sexualising a minor in text, image, drawing, generated content or any other way, including with Chacki or any other AI tool.
  • Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to make contact with a minor for a sexual purpose.
  • Trafficking of minors, or offering to arrange contact with a minor.
  • Sharing intimate images of a minor, even when the minor shared them first.

How to report

  • Every post, comment, profile, message and conversation on the social network and in Chakloon Chat has a Report action, and every person can be blocked. The Report action is being added to the other services.
  • Reports about children reach us with the highest priority.
  • You can also write to child-safety@chakloon.com or abuse@chakloon.com. You do not have to give your name.
  • Do not forward, copy or download abuse material to show it to us. Send the report or the link, and we look at the content ourselves.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police in your country first. You can also report abuse material to the national hotline of your country, listed by the INHOPE network at https://www.inhope.org.

What we do

  • We review reports about children immediately and remove material that breaks these standards.
  • We close the accounts involved, and we close accounts opened again by the same person.
  • If there is a threat to the life or safety of a child, we inform the police: the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) or the authority of the country concerned.
  • A person takes every decision. Automated tools only help us sort reports, so that the most urgent ones are seen first.

Reporting to authorities

We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the competent authorities: in Estonia to the Police and Border Guard Board (PPA), or to the authority of the country concerned. We may also report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States through its CyberTipline. We cooperate with the competent authorities in Estonia and in the European Union. We preserve the material and the account data connected to such a report for as long as the authorities require, and we do not use them for any other purpose.

Compliance and review

We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us and, for the Chakloon Chat app, with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy. These standards are reviewed at least once a year and whenever a service changes in a way that affects them.

Point of contact

Our designated contact for child safety matters, including questions from regulators, authorities and app stores, is child-safety@chakloon.com. Messages to this address reach the people who run the services directly and are handled before anything else.
