Version 1.0In force from October 16, 2026Updated: October 16, 2026All versions

These terms apply to Zori at chakloon.net/zori, a service of Haydamax OÜ, Estonia. They supplement the general Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy and do not replace them.

What Zori is

Zori gives you personal astrology forecasts. From the date, time and place of your birth it calculates the real sky at the moment you were born, gives a daily sign for six spheres of life, shows compatibility and keeps a blind diary with an honest score. Zori is also part of a research experiment that tests whether astrology forecasts match what actually happens.

Not advice of any kind

Forecasts in Zori are astrology. Their predictive power has not been established, and checking it is exactly the purpose of the experiment. Nothing in Zori is medical, psychological, financial, legal or any other professional advice, and the experiment is not a medical or clinical study.

Do not make important decisions on the basis of Zori, for example about your health or treatment, money and investments, work, relationships or legal matters. If you are worried about your health or your state of mind, speak to a doctor or another specialist. In an emergency call 112 or your local emergency number.

Use Zori for entertainment and self-reflection.

How the experiment works

  1. Forecast. Every day Zori gives a forecast for each of the six spheres.
  2. Blind diary. You record how your day went in each sphere. The forecast for the day stays hidden from you until you have made your entry, so that it does not influence what you write. If you open the forecast earlier, that day does not count in the blind score.
  3. Honest score. Your entries are compared with the forecasts, and the score shows how often they matched, compared with what chance would give.
  4. Common result. The days of participants who have given consent are combined into a common statistical result.

Zori asks for two separate consents. Each stays off until you switch it on yourself, neither depends on the other, and you can withdraw each of them at any time.

Consent for health marks. A mark for the health sphere is information about your health, a special category of data under Article 9 GDPR. Zori saves health marks only with your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) GDPR. You give it with a separate switch under My data, and Zori also asks for it when you first make a mark for health. Without this consent nothing is recorded for the health sphere at all; the other spheres of the diary work as usual.

Consent to the study. Taking part in the common study is voluntary and requires your separate, explicit consent. If you do not take part, you can still use forecasts, the birth chart, compatibility and your own diary and score. By giving this consent you agree that your birth data, diary entries and scores are used for the study, combined with the data of other participants and published only as aggregated results. If you have also given the consent for health marks, your health marks go into the study too, as special category data under Article 9(2)(a) GDPR.

Legal grounds: forecasts, the birth chart, compatibility and the diary for the other spheres are based on our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); health marks and the study are based on your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a) GDPR).

Your data

Zori processes:

  • the date, time and place of your birth;
  • your diary entries, forecasts and scores;
  • the birth data of other people that you enter to check compatibility.

Birth data and diary entries are personal data and can be sensitive. We keep them only to run Zori and, if you have given consent, for the study, until you delete them or your account. We never sell them and never use them for advertising or advertising profiles. They are stored on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany and Finland.

Enter the birth data of another person only with that person's knowledge. We use such data only to calculate compatibility for you, on the basis of the legitimate interest in the calculation you asked for (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). It does not go into the study and is deleted together with your Zori data.

Publication of results

Results of the study are published only in aggregated, anonymous form, for example the number of participants and days, the share of matching forecasts and their statistical significance. We never publish names, handles, birth data or individual diary entries. Groups too small to keep participants unrecognisable are not shown separately.

Safeguards for the study under Article 89(1) GDPR: the common result is calculated automatically from the forecasts and diary entries of blind days; names, handles and e-mail addresses are not part of the calculation; study data is not passed to third parties and is not used to take decisions about you or for any other purpose.

You can withdraw either consent at any time in Zori under My data, the consent to the study also in the Study section, in the same way as you gave it, or by writing to privacy@chakloon.com. When you withdraw the consent for health marks, Zori stops recording the health sphere and erases from your diary all health marks already saved. When you withdraw the consent to the study, from that moment your days no longer go into the common result. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it (Article 7(3) GDPR). Aggregated results already published contain no personal data and remain as they are.

Under My data you can download your Zori data, your profile, forecasts, marks and the people you added, as a JSON file (Article 20 GDPR), and delete all your Zori data at any time. Deleting your Chakloon Passport account deletes it too. You also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection and the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee). See Your data.

Minimum age

Zori is for people aged 16 and over, like all Chakloon services, see Minimum age.
