How Chakloon News gathers stories from publishers in 28 languages, how to read it, and what to do if you are a publisher.

What it is

Chakloon News at chakloon.net/news shows the news of the day grouped into stories. We read the RSS feeds of publishers and put reports about the same event together, so you see one story with several sources. Chakloon News works in 28 languages and does not need an account.

For every report we show only the headline, a link and a short excerpt. The full text is always on the publisher's site.

How to read

  1. Open chakloon.net/news. The page opens in the language of your browser.
  2. At the top you see the main stories of the moment.
  3. Next to them is the press of your country.
  4. Below are the rubrics. Open a rubric to see only its stories.
  5. Open a story to see its full coverage: how different publishers report it, including publishers in other languages.
  6. Press a headline to read the article on the publisher's site.

Rubrics

There are 11 rubrics: politics, world, economy, society, sport, culture, lifestyle, science, technology, health and religion. Each rubric has its own page, for example chakloon.net/news/sport.

How stories are chosen

Stories are selected and grouped automatically by a program. Nobody at Chakloon writes or edits the news, and the order is not a judgement of any publisher. A story can therefore contain reports that contradict each other. Read the sources and judge for yourself.

For publishers

  • Your feed is read like any RSS reader reads it. We show only the headline, a link to your page and a short excerpt.
  • To have your feed added, or to stop its use, write to team@chakloon.com from an address of your publication and name the feed.
  • If our crawler causes problems on your site, write to abuse@chakloon.com.
