How to read and write posts on chakloon.com, follow people, comment and like, and how to report or block.

What it is

chakloon.com is the social network of the Chakloon package. It has a feed of posts, profiles of people, pages of projects, comments, likes, hashtags and follows. Anyone can read public posts and profiles. To write, comment, like, follow, report or block, you sign in with your Chakloon Passport.

Your profile has a public address: chakloon.com/@yourhandle.

Get started

  1. Open chakloon.com and press Sign in.
  2. Sign in with Chakloon Passport, or create an account (see Chakloon Passport).
  3. Open the feed. The tab All shows the newest posts of everyone, the tab Following shows posts of the people you follow.

Posts and comments

  1. Open the form for a new post, write your text and publish it.
  2. Add a hashtag such as #kyiv to a post. Every hashtag becomes a link to the page with all posts that carry it.
  3. To comment, open the post and write under it.
  4. To like, press the heart under the post.
  5. To delete your own post, open the menu of the post and choose Delete.

At the moment posts are text only and a published post cannot be edited. If you need to change a post, delete it and publish it again.

People and follows

  • Find people by name or handle in the people search.
  • Open a profile and press Follow to see that person's posts in the tab Following.
  • On every profile you can see who the person follows and who follows them.

Report and block

To report a post or a person:

  1. Open the menu of the post or the profile.
  2. Choose Report.
  3. Pick the reason that fits best and send.

Reports are reviewed by a person. To stop seeing someone and to stop them from interacting with you, use Block in the same menu.

What is not allowed is described in the Community Guidelines. If you believe that content is illegal, you can also send a notice as described in Report illegal content. How we decide and how to appeal a decision is explained in Content moderation and appeals. Anything involving the safety of children goes to child-safety@chakloon.com and is handled first.

Your data and where to write

Your posts stay until you delete them, unless they are removed under our rules. To delete the whole account, see Chakloon Passport.
